Mission Statement
CEES's mission is to dramatically expand the School of Earth Sciences computational capacity for analyzing, simulating and predicting the behavior of complex earth processes and systems.
CEES's three thematic components - Research (Algorithms Architectures, Interdisciplinary Geosciences), Education, and HPTC - work together to fill the growing gap between mathematics and the sciences and engineering by combining a strong focus on scientific applications with state-of-the-art computational methods.
